This internal assessment resource is for a Samoan Sasa Dance. 
 
Samoan Sasa supports AS2.3: Perform an ethnic or social dance to communicate understanding of the style.
 
This resource was originally produced for the Pacifica Rhythms workshop: Samoan Sasa. Teachers were taught the Sasa technique with the support of live drummers from the west Auckland Samoan community. The music was composed to the Achievement Standard specifications for 2.3.
 
I would encourage proficiency in the teaching of this specialised cultural Taonga.
